Bluesman Curtis Salgado has been performing and touring since the late '60s, but he is probably best known as the inspiration for John Belushi's character in the Blues Brothers. During an interview with opbmusic's David Christensen, Salgado tells the story of how he met Belushi during the filming of Animal House in Eugene and one of the unintended consequences of the Blues Brothers phenomenon.
