My mother said, "What on earth do you want with that ugly thing?"
She said, "It's not even comfortable."
APPRAISER: You've got a cross between Adirondack, the very natural-looking carved wood, as well as mission style, also known as Arts and Crafts.
Probably made in Michigan.
Valuation on it, I would probably say in the neighborhood of $1,200 to $1,500.
Great chair for a great person.
