After retiring from her career as a school teacher, Samyak Yamauchi found a new path - being an intuitive painter. Yamauchi calls her art “playful, primitive paintings” and says it is because her subject matter is generally fun and playful and her style is simple and unschooled. At a visit to her studio, we find out why she wears wings when she paints and how she helps her students.
