Smash the Skatriarchy is a zine with a mission of lowering barriers to skating.
Amelia Bjesse-Puffin is the creator of Smash the Skatriarchy, a handmade zine that fights for a more enlightened world of skating. For this issue she meets up with Indigenous roller derby stars Mick and Gloria, and Rosebuds derby star Eden, for a practice skate at Pier Park in Portland. The skaters talk to Amelia about their love of the sport and their work creating a skate world without borders.
