Chef Chris Williams talks about his pioneering grandmother, Lucille B. Smith, a chef, educator and entrepreneur. She was of Texas' first businesswomen. She invented the first packaged hot roll mix and established one of the first college-level commercial foods and technology departments in the country. Her legacy lives on in a new generation of Black culinary entrepreneurs.
