David Willis works with glass in many forms. He’s blows glass, and also “paints” huge canvases, using tiny chips of glass, called “frit.” He shapes large dramatic sculptures that stand in galleries and embody the balance between the strength and fragility in glass. He’s inspired by nature, and works in a studio on the Columbia Gorge just outside Washougal, WA.
