Sidnee Snell creates dramatic fabric designs, abstracted from details of photographs.

Sidnee Snell spent years as an engineer before engineering a process for creating dramatic fine art quilts. her quilts are both representational and impressionistic. Each quilt starts with a "paint by numbers" outline based on the shapes in a photograph, then she'll brainstorm with her palate of colorful fabric to fill in the blanks. These quilts are made to hang on the wall, not rest on a bed.
