The Vargas family reached a settlement with the Paramus school district earlier this month.
The district also settled with the family of Asher Majeed, a student who was left in critical condition after the crash.
Majeed's family will receive 12 and a half million dollars from the Paramus District.
Social studies teacher Jennifer Williamson Kennedy was also killed in the crash, and her family still has an ongoing suit against the district.
The crash occurred when the bus driver, Hudy Muldrow, Sr. missed his exit on Route 80, veered across three lanes of traffic and attempted to cross to the other side of the highway illegally.
The bus was hit by an oncoming dump truck.
The attorney for the families has said the district should have known about Muldrow's muddy driving record that included 20 license suspensions and five crashes.
He's since been sentenced to ten years in prison.
The family of the 43 other students on the bus have also sued the dump truck company.
